Western Slope Road Trip 2016
I satisfied my need for my Western Slope summer by taking a very long and scenic road trip. My itinerary? Stay in Glenwood and go to the pool; Spend time in Carbondale and Redstone; See a friend in Paonia; See a friend in Grand Junction; Enjoy the Palisade farmer's market and get some peaches; Take a scenic drive along 141 through canyon country where I never explored before; go to the Dennis Weaver Memorial Park in Ridgway; revisit my old town Montrose. All completed! Today I head home, but wanted you to enjoy the trip, too, with some photos!

So much going on!
There has been quite a number of exciting things happening in my neck of the woods!
I am finally getting my small business-Soulful Transitions-off the ground. I got my blog up and running, joined Facebook, filed as an LLC, got my Employer ID Number, and am starting to research liability insurance and space rental. On top of all that, I have been creating lots of artistic pieces. I am working on my "little boxes of…" as well as mounting some photography and making jewelry. I will be in the Artists in August art show in Lowry at the end of the month, and I also want to do some craft shows this holiday season.

I look forward to seeing how all of this develops!
